Zhengbing He is a PhD student at the Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies at the Australian National University. Her research focuses on the intersection of history and myth through local heritage-making in China. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, she investigates how local communities interpret and reshape myths, and how they respond to official histories while engaging in regional competition and collaboration through heritage-making.
